The workshop has been provided with latest fabrication machineries including CNC drilling machines, welding machines etc., The plate bending machine installed is capable of rolling shells up to 110 mm by cold rolling and dish end can be pressed up to 120 mm with hydraulic press. For heat exchangers, tube sheet drilling can be done up to 400 mm thickness.
Fabrication of high pressure, low temperature and thick vessels upto 120mm in Carbon Steel material has been GR's achievement. GR has fabricated with all grades of Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Clad Steel consisting of Nickel, Hest alloy Monel and S.S..

This workshop has been accredited by ASME under 'U' stamp as well as ISO 9001-2000.
- Shops are supported by planning cell, shop procurement cell, welding, quality control and inspection, works accounts.
- Dust free enclosure area 160 sq mtrs. For manufacturing equipment for nuclear and precision equipment with stringent requirement.
